It has been a minute Substack friends! We’re back with a new weekly segment where we showcase our talented creative community & venues in a specific city!
PSA! This will be exclusive to newsletter subscribers, so don’t miss it! You can expect to see venues, planners, photographers, floral designers & more. If you need personalized recommendations, please reach out to our concierge line directly here or text us at 310.745.0948.
Our hometown is Los Angeles, so it only felt right to start here. LA can seem scarce of options…but you just need to know where to go & who to reach out to :)
Venues
Santa Monica Proper - designed by Kelly Wearstler, this boutique hotel is modern, chic and the aesthetic is 10/10.

Paramour Estate - nestled in the hills of Silverlake, with insane views of LA, this private estate is the perfect setting for an intimate wedding with your closest friends & family.

Sunset Tower - needs no introduction tbh, you’ll likely see Lenny Kravitz or Leonardo DiCaprio here on the weekend at Tower Bar. Elevated, black tie wedding vibes for sure.

Planners
*based in Los Angeles and produce & design weddings globally - perfect for LA based celebrations or destination!
Smith + James Events - these are your gals if you want to throw a massive party. they can give you Burning Man in the desert or an intimate French affair at a chateau.

Studio Sully - many of Melissa’s clients are artists or designers. her aesthetic is whimsical & fashion-forward!

Candice Edinger - you can find Candice in the Caribbean, Italy, Portugal - you name it. she’s excellently traveled and brings her destination/local expertise & experience to the planning process.

Photographers
*based in Los Angeles + shoot in destinations all over the world!
Jes Workman - rich & moody; story focused

Albany Katz - artful photography with a twist

Samantha Dean - documentary style; mix of candids & portraits

Floral Designers
Jenn Sanchez - aesthetic is overgrown, a bit untamed. you’ll never see her do the same design twice!
Isa Isa - seasonal, often local and foraged flowers. goal is to create emotive, weird, and wonderfully inspired environments.
Still Carnations - if you love colorful blooms, Jayne is your gal. her arrangements have character and a sculptural essence to them.

if any are a fit for your upcoming event, we’re happy to connect you directly or provide more info!
